• An Enhanced Catalogue of the Nineteenth Century Novels Collection, Robinson Special Collections

The research will entail the cataloguing of the Nineteenth Century Novels Collection, a collection of roughly 1,500 Victorian novels. The cataloguing entails creating a PDF sorting the novels by author, publisher, genre, subject, and keywords. The identification of these terms will be aided by several resources including Companion to Victorian Fiction by John Sutherland, At the Circulating Library: A Database of Victorian Fiction, and the Orlando Project. Completion of the project will result in a valuable resource when using the Nineteenth Century Novels Collection, allowing users to quickly and easily identify relevant texts to their research.
