- The Life and Times of the British Far Right: Why has there been no dominant far right in the UK of significance in the last century?
This research project aims to highlight, process, and demonstrate a clear awareness of why there has been no significant far right party or movement over the past 100 years in Britain. It will undertake to pinpoint an array of social, economic and political events which chart the changing ideology of the far right. A timeline of incidents can be used to identify the key reasons why Britain has not developed a serious far right. International comparisons will be employed to demonstrate the similarities and dissimilarities with British politics.
