• Are postoperative MRIs following resection of Spinal Meningioma a good predictor of long term functional gain?

The aim of the research project is to compare MRI scans of pre and post-operative spinal meningioma resection at the Royal Victoria Infirmary. Changes in spinal compression and atrophy will be measured and then compared with the improvement in function at 6 months. This will determine if the post op MRI can be used confidently as a predictor of outcome.
