Alex Turner is an archaeologist and a Research Associate in the School of History, Classics and Archaeology, Newcastle University. A major strand of his current research is the development of a holistic methodology employing, amongst other techniques, GIS, laser scanning and geophysical prospection in the investigation of archaeological remains.
