Krzysztof Kardaszewicz

Krzysztof is a PhD candidate at the University of Warsaw (sociology) specialising in the research of Chinese diaspora, in particular in questions related to migration between China and Central and Eastern Europe. His current research interests focus on educational migration, place-making and cross-cultural families. He has significant work experience in China (journalism and the non-profit sector) and recently completed a two year research fellowship at Peking University. Krzysztof’s academic publications include papers in Asian Pacific Migration Journal and Population Research (in Chinese).

Krzysztof holds a MSc degree from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London (2010). He has previously cooperated with Center of Migration Research (UW) on a project studying economic integration of Chinese and Vietnamese migrants in Poland.
