Cristina F. Colombo is an Architect, PhD in “Interior Architecture and Exhibition Design” and Adjunct Professor at the School of Architecture Urban Planning and Construction Engineering, Politecnico di Milano.
Cristina has been involved as a Temporary Research Fellow in national and international research projects since 2007, i.e. MeLa* (EU-FP7, 2011–2015) and TRACES (EU-Horizon2020, 2016–2019). She is currently collaborating with ICOM-CAMOC for a worldwide mapping project of city museums.
Her studies and publications mainly focus on museography, heritage studies, interior architecture, iconic social housing. Among her publications are Utopia s.r.l.: Icone sconfitte dell’Housing Sociale with Viviana Saitto (LetteraVentidue, 2018), Museum Multiplicities: Field Actions and Research by Design, edited with Luca Basso Peressut and Gennaro Postiglione (Politecnico di Milano, 2014), and Contested Spaces, Concerted Projects: Designs for Vulnerable Memories, edited with Jacopo Leveratto (LetteraVentidue, 2020).
