Kick-Off Meeting
The Kick-Off Meeting of COST Action IS1406 was held at the COST Association in Brussels on Friday 17th April 2015, officially launching the Action.
At the time of this meeting, there were 27 countries represented in the Action, including representation from International Partnership Countries and Near Neighbour Countries (Australia, The United States, Canada, and South Africa).
This meeting was chaired initially by Luule Mizera from the COST Association (The Scientific Officer for this Action), and outlined the main COST instruments to be used throughout the course of this Action. These instruments include Working Groups, Meetings, Training Schools, Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSMs) and Dissemination. The Action's activity is due to start in June 2015 and the next Management Committee meeting will be held in Newcastle in October.
