Action Inspired Project

A group of four master students from the Speech and Language Therapy Degree Programme at NTNU (Trondheim - Norway) and their supervisors, Dr Julie Feilberg and Prof. Mila Vulchanova, are working on a COST 1406 Action inspired project which targets care-givers' resilience in the face of Developmental Language Disorder. The project has collected valuable data from semi-structured interviews with 17 caregivers which have been analysed using inductive-deductive type of analysis (Tjora 2017) yielding responses grouped in 3 main categories (Patterson 2002), identity and world view, resources, and challenges. The 3 categories have been used to analyse responses both at the micro- (family) and meso-(institutional support) level. This project is the first of it's type in the Norwegian context. The results will be published in 4 graduate theses and a research paper.
