As well as identifying whether ECP is effective in the treatment in CLAD, we are also interested in understanding more about what it is like to live with CLAD. We plan to interview 30 participants, to learn more about their:

• experience of living with CLAD and its impact on their everyday lives
• awareness of lung transplant rejection or CLAD prior to their diagnosis
• thoughts about current treatments for CLAD, including ECP.

Update July 2026:  Interviews with patients have now been completed and the research team are currently writing up the results.
