Selina Boege

Selina has an interdisciplinary background in health sciences, business and ethics in Artificial Intelligence. She completed her Bachelor of Sciences at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences in Germany followed by the completion of her Masters degree in Management at London Business School in the UK. Selina is currently pursuing a PhD in AI ethics in the department Business and Law at the University of Northampton, UK. She worked as a Business Analyst and Product Manager in the field of Finance and Healthtech before she joined Newcastle University Translational and Clinical Research Institute in June 2023 as Data Ethicist and AI Product Development Manager. She is currently responsible for overseeing the ethical collection and use of data in the design and development of a digital health intervention for patients with Parkinson’s disease and contributes to the development of scoping reviews, systematic reviews and research protocols.
