Our Team

Rosiered Brownson Smith

Rosiered has an extensive background in biomedical sciences and cancer research. She obtained her BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Durham University and an MSc in Cancer from University College London, graduating with Distinction. Currently, she is near completion of her PhD, where her research focuses on the prevention of nerve damage during neurotoxic chemotherapy for breast cancer. She joined the Translational and Clinical Research Institute as a Research Associate in July 2024. In her current role, she oversees the UNEEG project, which examines the acceptability and impact of ultra-long-term subcutaneous EEG monitoring in individuals with epilepsy and intellectual disability. Her research aims to use digital technologies to improve the lives of those with chronic diseases, making significant contributions to the future of healthcare.
