Q1 2025 Team Update

From first surgeries to co-designed prototypes, Q1 has been a showcase of collaboration, creativity, and clinical innovation. As we chart new frontiers in digital health, here’s a snapshot of how the DEPTH AI team has been making impact happen.

Project Highlights

UNEEG Study – First Surgery a Success!

Our epilepsy monitoring study hit a major milestone with the first successful subcutaneous EEG implantation. This cutting-edge approach could transform how seizures are detected and managed in everyday life.

NoObesity – Co-Design Phase Wrapped

After four vibrant workshops with families and healthcare professionals, we’ve redesigned the NoObesity app to better meet user needs.

Coming up next: the prototype is heading to the developers, and we’re giving the app a brand-new name inspired by participant feedback.

NMS Assist – Public Involvement in Full Swing

We’ve brought together an amazing group of people with Parkinson’s and their carers to shape the NMS Assist platform. They’re playing a key role in both a new project management group and a series of co-design sessions. Our research protocol is ready and about to be submitted for NHS ethics review.

TEAM-CARE – Relaunch Gearing Up

King’s College London is leading the relaunch, expanding recruitment to new sites for wider reach and stronger data. Meanwhile, our team is busy mapping behavioural pathways to make sense of how digital interventions really work.

CALM – Workshops Off to an Energetic Start

Young people with bipolar disorder are at the heart of this redesign. Our first co-production workshop sparked energy and creativity, and the full redesign is now moving full speed ahead.

Home Based Care – Interface Under Construction

The design team is deep into building a sleek, user-friendly interface, while prepping to digitise decision trees that guide clinical care.

NEWS2 – Tech Foundations Being Laid

Our NHS study site is setting up the technical environment that will power the next phase of algorithm development.
