We are delighted to share this interview with Juan Carlos Dávila by Cecilia Sosa. The filmmaker, activist, journalist, and community thinker reflects on some of his experiences and insights into coloniality and struggle in the archipelago, reflecting on the role of independent film and especially documentary in contemporary Puerto Rico, and the importance of the sea in imagining a decolonial future.
