DeepCPath Secures New Funding to Advance Next-Gen CPath with Neurosymbolic AI
Led by Dr Tejal Shah, this project develops a research proof-of-concept (PoC) model for the diagnosis and classification of multiple lymphoma subtypes using whole slide images (WSIs) of H&E-stained and immunohistochemistry (IHC) sections, combining neural and symbolic approaches to produce reusable annotations and explainable outputs for trustworthy decision support under uncertainty. The project aims to understand the requirements for operationalising AI-driven digital pathology systems from lab settings to clinical environments.
