Speaker 2:

I just (pause) it's so easy to just (pause) like I really want to start reading 'cause I have trouble sleeping and I I'd love to get into a book and (pause) read before bed (pause) em (pause) but Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Um (pause) do em either of you have any nicknames or anything?

Speaker 2:

Em mine's (NAME) just because my surname's (NAME) (NAME), so everyone's just like '(NAME)'.

Speaker 3:

Em I've like (pause) (unclear) it's (NAME) (NAME) people call me '(NAME)', or 'The (NAME)' or (pause) em my dad calls me '(NAME)' for (NAME) (NAME), but (pause) n- not really apart from that.

Speaker 1:

Have they, do they still stick with you then?

Speaker 3:

Yeah quite a few people s- still call me (NAME) (pause) not like new people that I meet but people who used to call me it from school

Speaker 1:

(interruption) Yeah (laughter)

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Like even the guys that I haven't seen in ages (pause) and like I'll be like 'oh hi (NAME)' and he'll be like 'you all right (NAME)', it's re- it's not nice but

Speaker 1:

Em are either of you into any sports or anything?

Speaker 2:

(tut) Em (pause) not um (pause) I don't play any at the minute but I em (pause) try and go to the gym and do try and run (pause) go on runs and things, I played netball when I was at school but then I kind of (pause) gave that up just before sixth-form because I got really into like

Speaker 3:

Going (laughter) out

Speaker 2:

Going out and (pause) yeah

Speaker 3:

(laughter) Boys

Speaker 2:

Boys. (laughter)

Speaker 3:

Em I played netball, hockey, and did athletics (pause) through school em (pause) and then I tried to join the Uni netball team last year, and they basically laughed at me (laughter) it's I haven't played in so long and they were all (pause) so fit and so good and like running round and I was like out of breath, red like (pause) so yeah I gave that up (unclear) (pause) stick with spinning classes and (pause) gym class I'm getting into gym class at the moment.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah we -- we -- we do spinning at the gym well we used to and were going to get back into it

Speaker 3:

Yeah

Speaker 1:

That's supposed to be so hard

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it is

Speaker 3:

It's all right once you have a few sessions and get used to it

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

(laughter) Do you go running or?

Speaker 3:

We er (pause) (interruption) um

Speaker 2:

(interruption) We go through phases like in preparation for our summer holidays 'cause we all the girls went to Portugal, and before that we were like running loads we went on runs loads and then we've kind of given it up and were trying to get back into it, but because it's like winter and dark nights at the minute

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Yeah

Speaker 2:

(interruption) We're more going to the gym.

Speaker 3:

We em I've done a couple of half marathons that were on last year and the year before, so I had to train up for those a little bit but (pause) not (laughter) very much I did more to train up for my summer holiday than I did for the half (laughter) marathon (interruption) so

Speaker 2:

(interruption) (laughter)

Speaker 1:

Ah we were supposed to do that, (sigh) (pause) but it didn't happen (laughter) was your time good?

Speaker 3:

Em (pause) n- no (laughter) I beat my time from last year but (pause) I (pause) was run I was running with my brother's girlfriend (pause) em and I would start the first half and I did it all too quickly so I had to stop in the middle (pause) and I thought I generally thought I was going to die em (pause) but then (pause) I still beat my time from last time but only by like a couple of minutes (pause) but it's all right.

Speaker 1:

Em (pause) do you remember what you were doing on nine-eleven?

Speaker 3:

We were at school I r- remember we (pause) it was early morning I think it was, and they put the TV on (pause) in the gym (pause) oh and afterschool I remember everyone's parents, panicking (pause) like coming to pick them up and some people went home in the middle of the day and things.

Speaker 2:

I literally have such a terrible memory that I can't don't know (pause) I li- I can't remember anything.

Speaker 3:

I'm pretty sure it was in the morning (pause) like yeah I can't entirely remember (pause) but the em (pause) I do remember people's (pause) kid like the mums all lining up outside (pause) at like ten to four like 'oh my God, were going home!', sort of freaking out a bit but (pause) no I don't have very (pause) much memory about it.

Speaker 1:

What about when Michael Jackson died?

Speaker 2:

(gasp) I was in (pause) Thailand with my (pause) boyfriend slash ex boyfriend, don't really know what to call him (pause) em (pause) and we were at (pause) where were we -- we were in one of the hotels and it -- it was morning and someone said 'Michael Jackson's died', and we were like 'God'.

Speaker 3:

I was in Tup Tup Palace (pause) when I found out

Speaker 2:

That's really weird 'cause it's the time difference (laughter)

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah

Speaker 2:

So you were on a night out and I was I -- I having break (interruption) fast

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Yes

Speaker 3:

I remember I was me and my brother like, and me and my brother (pause) we went outside we were having a conversation we didn't believe it was true (pause) and we were like 'no he's just decided to (pause) sort of (pause) isolate himself from the world and gone somewhere' (pause) and I'm still not sure whether he is dead or not to be honest.

Speaker 1:

(laughter)

Speaker 2:

Really?

Speaker 3:

(unclear) (pause) I do I believe more that he's dead now than I did, but (pause) there's a little inkling there which (pause) like (pause) (interruption) that he's not

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Oh my God, maybe he's not

Speaker 1:

Were you fans?

Speaker 2:

Yeah (pause) well (pause) not like (pause) not like a fan but it's just music was (interruption) amazing and legendary and (pause) (interruption) like

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Yeah (pause) (interruption) not like (pause) memorabilia buyers (laughter) or anything

Speaker 2:

(laughter) no yeah (pause) but yeah

Speaker 1:

Did you believe he did it (pause) em?

Speaker 3:

What do you mean?

Speaker 1:

What he was accused of (interruption) sleeping with the

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Oh (pause) I think it was very dodgy (pause) (interruption) er (laughter)

Speaker 2:

(interruption) I you just don't know do you (pause) like he was such I feel sorry for him because (pause) just these stars that

Speaker 3:

Mentally screwed (interruption) up like.

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Yeah

Speaker 1:

Um

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Who knows

Speaker 3:

(interruption) If he did do it he probably didn't do it (pause) intentionally

Speaker 2:

Or like (interruption) but even he might even

Speaker 1:

(interruption) (laughter)

Speaker 3:

(interruption) (laughter)

Speaker 2:

(laughter)

Speaker 3:

Like you know what I mean (interruption) like

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Oh yeah by mistake

Speaker 3:

(laughter) No like intentionally like (pause) either he actually thought he was just being nice or (pause) maybe like (pause) it's just (pause) that's just the way the stars turn they turn weird.

Speaker 2:

Yeah

Speaker 3:

But when he was young he was probably not never a weirdo or (interruption) anything

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Yeah

Speaker 2:

You just don't know because so much (pause) there's so many lies (pause) you just don't know what (pause) (interruption) goes on.

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Yeah

Speaker 1:

Um (pause) it's like Heath Ledger as well.

Speaker 3:

Yeah

Speaker 1:

That's awful

Speaker 3:

I watched a movie with him the other day and I just thought it was weird that he's (pause) dead (pause) (interruption) strange.

Speaker 2:

(interruption) What happened to him again? (pause)

Speaker 3:

He -- it was that weird thing like. He to- (interruption) they think he topped

Speaker 1:

(interruption) He

Speaker 3:

Himself in his hotel room or something.

Speaker 1:

(interruption) He overdosed (pause) Yeah.

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Something like that

Speaker 2:

Oh

Speaker 1:

But they don't know if he did it on purpose (interruption) or not.

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Oh yeah

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Yeah

Speaker 1:

Em (pause) would you say that you're mostly clean or messy people?

Speaker 2:

I think I've got a bit of OCD (pause) em because (pause) I'm (pause) I love tidying like I actually really enjoy tidying and cleaning (pause) em (pause) and I always like to be I'm quite organised and I always know I never lose any of my stuff, and I always know exactly where (pause) everything is and I'm quite sort of (pause) like that.

Speaker 3:

I'm slightly like (pause) I go through phases of either I just let it build up and be messy messy messy and then I'll blitz it (pause) and then it will gradually get messy messy messy and then I'll blitz it again and that's (pause) just (interruption) how I do it.

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Yeah whereas I like -- I -- you like -- for ex- (pause) like some people are like 'ah God I've got to tidy my room', actually but I was like that the other day (pause) but normally it's like people leave their bedroom to get really -- really messy, whereas I (pause) am the sort of person that as I go along (interruption) I'll like (pause) (interruption) tidy it.

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Yeah (pause) (interruption) Like t- ten minutes before you go to bed

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Yeah

Speaker 3:

(interruption) You always put things away

Speaker 2:

Yeah

Speaker 3:

Whereas I have to spend a weekend gutting my room. (laughter)

Speaker 1:

Is your house quite (pause) messy then, or?

Speaker 2:

It's really clean and tidy at the minute 'cause (NAME) just sorted the whole kitchen out and it looks amazing (pause) em

Speaker 3:

It's all r- 'cause we went from a small flat which always looked so messy (pause) our new flat's really big so the mess is sort of like

Speaker 2:

Spread (interruption) out

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Spread out so you don't see it as much

Speaker 2:

But also (pause) yeah it depends 'cause if we go on a night out (pause) then the flat for (interruption) the weekend will be just be a complete tip (interruption) just junk food and

Speaker 3:

(interruption) God (pause) (interruption) with food and bottles and

Speaker 2:

Bottles and glasses and then we'll clean it and then it will be (pause) tidy for awhile and then we'll go on another night out and it will get back to the same state.

Speaker 1:

Um

Speaker 3:

But we use the dishwasher if we've been on a night out.

Speaker 2:

Yeah (laughter)

Speaker 3:

Just to help us along

Speaker 1:

(laughter) Em what's your id- er dream job? (pause)

Speaker 2:

(sigh) (pause) um m- mine (pause) would be

Speaker 1:

It could be anything

Speaker 2:

Oh (interruption) Ok

Speaker 3:

(interruption) If it's not realistic (pause) then to be one of The Saturdays

Speaker 2:

Yeah to be one of The Saturdays (pause) (interruption) definitely.

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Em (pause) it would be amazing

Speaker 2:

Yeah

Speaker 3:

But like realistically like (pause) I don't know like just em (pause) I don't know (interruption) (unclear) yeah

Speaker 2:

(interruption) I'm not really bothered about (pause) I'm not a career I've never ever been a career person (pause) and I don't have my heart set on having a like career because I'm all from (pause) like all through school I was just like 'I just want like a family and I want loads of kids' and I'm -- I'm more that sort of person than (pause) em a career person

Speaker 3:

Yeah

Speaker 2:

Which is very strange to some people (pause) but I don't know I've just always I just want lots of kids and (pause) (interruption) yeah

Speaker 1:

(interruption) Marry someone rich.

Speaker 2:

Y- well yeah, (interruption) that'd be good

Speaker 3:

(interruption) (laughter)

Speaker 1:

Do you prefer The Saturdays to Girls Aloud then?

Speaker 2:

Well it's a- th- Girls Aloud are the- the- they (pause) (interruption) were amazing

Speaker 3:

(interruption) They're past it

Speaker 2:

And they've -- they've past it they've grown up and The Saturdays are -- are kind of taking over now.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I totally agree, and The Saturdays are so much more fit.

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Yeah

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Like so much fitter than Girls Aloud

Speaker 2:

Yeah

Speaker 3:

They're just unreal

Speaker 1:

What do you think of Cheryl Cole?

Speaker 3:

(sigh) I go through phases, I love her (pause) and then I'm just like I'm so sick of your face, it's everywhere like (pause) it's and (pause) I don't know on bus stops,

Speaker 2:

Yeah

Speaker 3:

On busses, on (interruption) TV, and magazines

Speaker 2:

(interruption) I mean

Speaker 3:

And you're just like

Speaker 2:

I do like her and she's gorgeous and (pause) but I just can't help but thinking (pause) like you're a chav.

Speaker 1:

(laughter)

Speaker 3:

She -- she is a lot of people like have said who are from Newcastle who knew her previously like not like we know them but people have said (pause) like she's just from a an (interruption) council estate in Byker and she's (interruption) like proper

Speaker 2:

(interruption) She's (interruption) she is just a chav and like she's just I don't know (pause) she's obviously n- nice and stuff but (pause) you always hear about how she's like aff- like she has fights and she's really feisty and it's like

Speaker 3:

That what she used to be like when she (pause) punched the (pause) toilet attendant (interruption) and stuff that's the real (interruption) Cheryl Cole

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Yeah (interruption) yeah yeah

Speaker 3:

It really is (pause) like when she was young she was (pause) had fights and stuff and bolshie (interruption) and

Speaker 2:

(interruption) yeah

Speaker 3:

I don't know I think like with her fame she's had to sort of hide that (pause) but

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Yeah

Speaker 3:

(interruption) I don't think this is the real her.

Speaker 1:

Do believe all that about Gamu then (pause) that she's a racist? (laughter)

Speaker 3:

I -- I (interruption) thought that was ridiculous

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Oh no I thought that was ridiculous.

Speaker 3:

I generally believe that's (interruption) (laughter)

Speaker 2:

(interruption) It's -- it's but it really annoys me

Speaker 3:

(laughter) She said that in her interview (pause) that it's just ridiculous

Speaker 2:

It is just ridiculous it's just (pause) yeah it really annoys me when people (pause) are like ugh (pause) (interruption) 'it's y- you're racist'

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Yeah

Speaker 2:

It -- it's like that is the most an- it's j- just I can't even (pause) talk about it -- it angers me so much

Speaker 3:

It it's it -- it just (gasp) (pause) ri- (interruption) ridiculous

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Ridiculous she you can't even (pause) comment or talk about (interruption) it

Speaker 3:

(interruption) No

Speaker 2:

Because it just is ridiculous (pause) it's just so far from the truth.

Speaker 1:

'Will i am' was sat right (laughter) next to her (pause) so

Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly!

Speaker 3:

That's so (laughter) true

Speaker 1:

What age do you want to marry (pause) by?

Speaker 3:

I think about twenty six but (pause) I think with my track record it's going to be more like thirty-six, forty-six (pause) (laughter) but twenty six would be good, or twenty seven (pause) that kind of age.

Speaker 2:

Em I (pause) would ideally like to meet my husband (pause) in the next month (pause) em and get married, no I li- I just (pause) I want to get married young and have kids and

Speaker 3:

Twenty-six is not (pause) that twenty-six in five years.

Speaker 2:

Yeah

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Oh God (laughter)

Speaker 2:

(interruption) I definitely like the th- I want to be a -- a I'd love to be married at like twenty-six (pause) child by (pause) twenty-seven (pause) and then yeah (pause) definitely (pause) eh

Speaker 1:

Do you know how many kids you want?

Speaker 2:

Four (pause) I've always said it, I want four kids

Speaker 3:

I quite like 'cause in my family we've got boy girl boy girl so our parents where really lucky and I would love that, or (pause) I don't know if I could handle four but I or maybe just (pause) two like I think it's got to be an even number.

Speaker 2:

Yeah well I'm (interruption) from

Speaker 3:

(interruption) I don't know why

Speaker 2:

I've got three brothers so there was four of us em (pause) and I just want a big family like my family.

Speaker 1:

Um

Speaker 3:

I'm the same I think (pause) (interruption) quite a few

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Yeah

Speaker 3:

But I'm just (pause) not the type of person that could handle maybe two kids, or three, but four (pause) (laughter) good God like under the age of ten (pause) what's that like oh God I don't think I could do it. (laughter)

Speaker 1:

Do you want pets?

Speaker 3:

I want a pack of dogs

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Yeah I

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Like a literal (pause) thirty (pause) of every (pause) breed I love absolutely love them.

Speaker 2:

I want em (pause) dogs (pause) and cats (pause) and horses

Speaker 1:

Can you ride?

Speaker 2:

Yeah I've -- I've had three horses and I used to ride all the time when I was younger (pause) em and then it kind of got (pause) because I had loads of like started getting loads of work at school and stuff I didn't really have time (pause) but I wish I still had horses now (pause)

Speaker 1:

Mm (pause) em do you have any particularly scary experiences? (pause)

Speaker 3:

(laughter) (pause) I don't (interruption) know

Speaker 2:

(interruption) I don't think I have

Speaker 3:

Em um actually I've (pause) um (pause) I once thought I levitated which was (laughter) extremely scary, I'm not joking

Speaker 2:

(laughter) (gasp) oh my God (unclear)

Speaker 3:

I was in a caravan and I was lying on a mattress asleep (pause) and I started screaming and my mate was like 'what the hell's wrong?' like 'what is wrong with you?' and I was like 'I've just levitated!' (pause) and I've never had the feeling again, but then I had it a few months ago and it's (pause) I -- I was hung-over both times, and I think (pause) some sort of muscle spasm (pause) which makes me feel like when I'm lying in bed and it's -- it's only ever happened twice in my life but (pause) I'm not stupid enough to think I actually levitated.

Speaker 1:

(laughter)

Speaker 2:

(laughter)

Speaker 3:

It was scary (laughter)

Speaker 2:

I (pause) have just remembered my scariest experience from Thailand.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah

Speaker 2:

But I can't talk about it (laughter) but it was just a scary experience

Speaker 1:

What about embarrassing moments?

Speaker 3:

Oh God my whole life (pause) (laughter) literally e- every time I drink (laughter) (pause) it's embarrassing (pause) (laughter)

Speaker 2:

Em (pause) I can't (pause) there's (pause) um (pause) I can't think of any that stand out

Speaker 3:

That's so good that you can't think of any I couldn't start (pause) with mine like.

Speaker 2:

But there must be (pause) I just can't I've got a really bad memory (laughter) so I can't remember

Speaker 3:

I'm trying (interruption) to think um (pause) I'm trying to think of one

Speaker 1:

(interruption) Probably drunken

Speaker 3:

Yeah they're mine are all sort of drunken like I don't know just sort of (pause) falling over and (pause) saying stupid things and you know what I mean those sorts of things nothing (pause) (sigh) nothing huge that's life changing or anything.

Speaker 1:

(sigh) If you had one superpower, what would it be? (pause)

Speaker 3:

I think it would have to maybe be invisibility (pause) or flying (pause) oh maybe flying.

Speaker 2:

Em (pause) oh (pause) I don't know (pause) what are the different powers you could have?

Speaker 3:

Flexibility (pause) astrovision (pause) walking through walls, whatever that one would be.

Speaker 2:

I don't know (pause) I don't have a desire to have (laughter) any of them

Speaker 1:

Have you never wanted to fly?

Speaker 2:

Well yeah but (pause) it would be a bit weird

Speaker 1:

(laughter)

Speaker 2:

If no-one else was flying. (laughter)

Speaker 3:

(laughter) Just you (pause)

Speaker 1:

Never thought of it that way (laughter)

Speaker 3:

(laughter) I haven't

Speaker 1:

Or read minds?

Speaker 2:

No I'd hate that (pause) that would be awful

Speaker 3:

Imagine you were talking to someone and they were like I just don't (interruption) like you (laughter) and you were just like

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Yeah (pause) no sometimes it's best not to know. (laughter)

Speaker 1:

Em who's been the most influential person to you? (pause)

Speaker 2:

(tut) Em (pause) well (pause) my parents and my fam- like my -- my three brothers (pause) like they're obviously really influential but also like (pause) on a scale of like relationships my (pause) boyfriend slash ex boyfriend 'cause it's complicated, he's (pause) taught me a lot about (pause) I don't know I just think he's taught me a lot (pause) about (pause) yeah (pause) just life in general.

Speaker 3:

I honestly think I'm going to have to say the same, my ex boyfriend.

Speaker 2:

Yeah

Speaker 3:

Even bef- ahead of my parents and my family (pause) 'cause yeah I just taught

Speaker 2:

They just teach you like 'cause (pause) my relationship before that (pause) I was literally so spoilt and got away with everything and got showered with presents and things like that and then going out with (pause) this guy he kind of like he taught me that I like life's not like that and you can't get everything and (pause) that I don't know it's it

Speaker 3:

Yeah I think mine well mines in a slightly different way like (pause) he's taught me (pause) what you want from life I don't know when you broke when you break up with them like you realise actually what you want

Speaker 2:

Yeah

Speaker 3:

Kind of thing, but (pause) and I think it's just it was just the age that the boyfriends came in I think it's more to do with it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah

Speaker 3:

That that's why they're influent- (interruption) influential

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Yeah

Speaker 1:

Do you think you'd get back with him?

Speaker 3:

My boy (interruption) friend? Absolutely not (interruption) we went out

Speaker 1:

(interruption) Um (pause) (interruption) really!

Speaker 3:

For like three years and lived together and had a dog (laughter) together so it was just ridiculous (pause) em (pause) it did not end well (pause) at all (pause) so

Speaker 1:

That's so sad

Speaker 2:

It is such a shame.

Speaker 3:

But were on were on sort of civilly terms now (pause) eventually, like a year later but (pause) (sigh) yeah (pause) I definitely wouldn't go back there. (interruption) (laughter)

Speaker 1:

(interruption) (laughter) (pause) Em if you suddenly (laughter) this is a really weird question um find yourself turned into a man how would you spend your day?

Speaker 3:

(interruption) (laughter)

Speaker 2:

(interruption) (laughter) Em (pause)

Speaker 3:

Ooo! (pause) I would go out and probably (pause) with the lads and have like

Speaker 2:

Yeah because I'm always really jealous like when guys are like (pause) 'ah lets all go (interruption) to the pub'

Speaker 3:

(interruption) 'Go for beers' (laughter)

Speaker 2:

And 'let's go for beers' and like girls just don't do that and I'd -- I'd have like a proper guys day and night and just

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Yeah

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Like (pause) yeah (pause) do something like that

Speaker 3:

'Cause girls don't you know when they like (pause) they go for drinks go on a lads night out go to the strippers, go to the casino

Speaker 2:

(laughter) Yeah

Speaker 3:

Like girls don't do you just sort of go out and go home

Speaker 2:

Yeah

Speaker 3:

Like that's it (pause) (sigh) it's not really a girly.

Speaker 1:

Em if your life was turned into a movie which actor would you play? (pause) or would (interruption) play you sorry

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Would play

Speaker 2:

Oh em

Speaker 3:

This was a question on This Morning this morning and it was -- it were Jason Donavon and I was actually thinking about it (pause) em (pause) (tut) oh God.

Speaker 2:

I don't know, don't have a clue.

Speaker 3:

I would quite like Keira Knightley to play me, but we've got nothing in common (laughter)

Speaker 2:

Ah I hate Keira Knightly (pause) em oh I know Sienna Miller

Speaker 3:

Oh (pause) good that is a good answer (pause) I'm jealous of your (laughter) answer yeah (laughter) I 'm going to say (interruption) Sienna Miller

Speaker 2:

(interruption) (laughter)

Speaker 1:

Why do you hate Keira Knightly?

Speaker 2:

I don't hate her but (pause) just like (pause) people like Keira Knightly (pause) Alexa Chung and Kate Moss, I just (pause) I don't (pause) like them (pause) I don't I don't know I just (pause) it's just the way people rave on about them, and I just (pause) don't (interruption) have that

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Yeah

Speaker 2:

Yeah

Speaker 1:

Mm (pause) em (pause) if a waiter and a customer was being rude would you spit in their food?

Speaker 3:

I wouldn't (pause) no

Speaker 2:

No I wouldn't

Speaker 3:

I worked in a restaurant for a while and it would horrify me (interruption) if I saw anyone do that

Speaker 2:

(interruption) But like, who does that would you (interruption) actually just (pause) sp- like

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Oh it's disgusting

Speaker 2:

It's just disgusting, I could never do that

Speaker 3:

I would just probably be a bit (pause) annoy- like

Speaker 2:

I'd just be        to them

Speaker 3:

Yeah like 'do you want some pepper?'

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Yeah (laughter)

Speaker 3:

(interruption) I wouldn't be like

Speaker 2:

(laughter) Oh God that will teach them

Speaker 3:

(laughter) Like you know what I mean like, have an        term but (pause) not like. (interruption) spit

Speaker 2:

(interruption) (laughter) Do you want some pepper?

Speaker 3:

(laughter) But like (pause) you know (pause) just asking them not in a very nice way but I wouldn't (pause) do anything (interruption) to (pause) physically (pause) harm them.

Speaker 2:

(interruption) (laughter)

Speaker 1:

(interruption) (laughter)

Speaker 2:

(laughter) That is so funny imagine what some people will say, some people would be like (pause) 'yeah I'd spit in their food' and (laughter) you're like 'oh yeah I'd think I'd just ask them if they wanted some pepper in a nasty way' (pause) oh

Speaker 1:

Em if you could meet one living celebrity who would it be? (pause) Or non living? (pause)

Speaker 2:

Em

Speaker 3:

Does it (pause) have to be celebrity? (interruption) Can it be like a famous person?

Speaker 1:

(interruption) Anyone (pause) yeah (pause)

Speaker 2:

Hm (pause) I can't think of anyone that stands out

Speaker 3:

mine's really sad

Speaker 2:

Who?

Speaker 3:

It would be (pause) Sir Alan (laughter) Sugar.

Speaker 2:

You

Speaker 1:

(laughter)

Speaker 3:

(laughter) It'd be really sad.

Speaker 2:

Why?

Speaker 3:

I don't know I would have su- (pause) ah I don't know

Speaker 2:

mine (interruption) oh I'd know who mine would be Simon Cowell

Speaker 3:

(interruption) I just absolutely love him

Speaker 3:

Oh God (pause) yeah! (laughter)

Speaker 2:

I love him and I fancy him and I agree with everything he says

Speaker 3:

(interruption) You're coming out with some good answers today

Speaker 2:

(interruption) And I think he's really clever (pause) I think (pause) I just I think I'd really have a good, if we went on a night out

Speaker 3:

Yeah

Speaker 2:

I think we'd have a good time together as well.

Speaker 3:

I'm going to have to change my answer to Simon Cowell.

Speaker 2:

Stop copying my answers (laughter)

Speaker 3:

(laughter) I'm not thinking about these hard enough

Speaker 2:

(laughter)

Speaker 1:

Do you watch the apprentice?

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Em

Speaker 3:

(interruption) I love the Apprentice.

Speaker 2:

Yeah you're obsessed with it I (pause) watch it but (pause) I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it.

Speaker 1:

Do you think you could do anything like that?

Speaker 3:

I would love to do something like that (pause) (interruption) but

Speaker 2:

(interruption) It's completely up (NAME)'s street whereas it's so (pause) not me

Speaker 3:

But you just need like (pause) I always say to my dad when I graduate I want to be able to like apply for it and say 'I don't need any (laughter) experience ', but (pause) you can't do that, so it's like another I like when I'm older I'd love to apply for it if I had the chance (pause) but

Speaker 1:

Ah wow!

Speaker 3:

I don't think I would get on (pause) at all (pause) but (pause) you can (pause) try can't you

Speaker 1:

They let some idiots on though

Speaker 3:

They really do (pause) like (pause) was it there's a club promoter that we know in town who (pause) got through to like the final stages (pause) and (pause) he's an ac- like he's a moron (pause) so

Speaker 1:

(laughter) (pause) Em (pause) what do you find attractive in the opposite sex?

Speaker 2:

(tut) I like an arrogance about them, I don't necessarily go for looks, there's just I can't pinpoint it but when I see a boy, I either fancy them or don't and it's got nothing to do with their looks and it's I think it's like (pause) their attitude and (interruption) kind of (pause) cocky and arrogant (interruption) but not in a nasty way

Speaker 3:

(interruption) It' a persona (pause) (interruption) yeah

Speaker 2:

Just sort of like a confidence that's (pause) I don't know, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Yeah I have the same sort of thing

Speaker 2:

Yeah

Speaker 3:

Although em like well I was going to say I am I also have to be physically attracted to them but I really don't 'cause a lot of people who I (pause) (interruption) fancy I do I'm not (interruption) physically attracted to or

Speaker 2:

(interruption) You see I would always (pause) (interruption) yeah 'cause I would think like oh I'd always go for looks but I don't because (pause) I -- I like I can't control my mind and I (interruption) either

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Yeah

Speaker 2:

Fancy them or I don't and (pause) (interruption) mm but maybe it goes hand in hand

Speaker 3:

(interruption) I know

Speaker 2:

Like I fancy them and they're (pause) like I'd never (pause) probably fancy a really (laughter) ugly person do you know what I mean?

Speaker 3:

Yeah but then I fancy a really ugly person

Speaker 2:

He's not really ugly

Speaker 3:

Come on

Speaker 2:

No but (NAME), I'm -- you wouldn't fancy like (pause) a (pause) I don't know (laughter) but

Speaker 3:

I'm pretty sure he's (pause) he's not good looking, but

Speaker 2:

Yeah

Speaker 3:

But it doesn't bother me (interruption) at all that he's not.

Speaker 2:

(interruption) It's just something about them

Speaker 3:

Yeah

Speaker 1:

Mm (pause) do you think you've ever been in -- in true love then?

Speaker 2:

Em (pause) my I first boyfriend I went out with f- for five years (pause) and (pause) it was my first love and like it was amazing, and we ended really fine and it's like I look back in fond memories, and then m- my last boyfriend like I loved him but I don't think I it's about true love more or less different types of love and throughout your stages of life you go through so I've got I've had my first love and that was amazing and then I'm sure I'll love people in between and then when I meet my husband I think that is a true love that will on a different scale from any of those other loves, so I think there's different loves.

Speaker 3:

Yeah I agree with you I think at the time I thought I was in true love with my boyfriend

Speaker 2:

Yeah (pause) definitely

Speaker 3:

And then looking back

Speaker 2:

Is that me?

Speaker 3:

Oh -- er looking back you I wasn't at all (interruption) really

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Yeah

Speaker 1:

That's such a good way of looking at it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah

Speaker 3:

But like you can you need to have fun with them

Speaker 2:

Yeah (pause) so

Speaker 1:

Em (pause) if you were stranded on a deserted island for a year and could only take three objects what would they be? (pause)

Speaker 2:

A laptop (interruption) (laughter)

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Yeah this is my phone that rung

Speaker 2:

A phone, a laptop, and chocolate (pause)

Speaker 3:

Um (pause) I don't know it would probably be the same.

Speaker 2:

Yeah

Speaker 1:

Um (pause) have you em ever been to any gigs? (pause) (tut) like Reading (pause) Leeds.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah I went to em (pause) just this s- summer I went to SW4 which was it's like a dance (pause) em two day like a weekend thing, but I only went for ad ay (pause) festival in London (pause) and it was really good (pause) had the best time

Speaker 3:

I went to Bestival last year for (pause) five days, which was absolutely unreal (pause) like so good (pause) em (pause) but (pause) no I haven't really been to much more

Speaker 2:

(NAME) and (NAME) are going to Glastonbury

Speaker 3:

Are they?

Speaker 2:

Yeah (pause) I really want to go.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, Glastonbury always sounds good.

Speaker 2:

But you've got to be so I'd love to go to a festival but you've got to be so (pause) it's really hard rounding all your friends up

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Yeah

Speaker 2:

(interruption) And been so in advance because (pause) it's hard to be that (interruption) organised

Speaker 3:

(interruption) Yeah

Speaker 2:

And you have to -- to get tickets you've got to be organised.

Speaker 1:

Who played at Bestival?

Speaker 3:

(tut) Er well I -- I went the very last minute 'cause I managed to get a free ticket so I was like I might as well just go (pause) em but I personally went for Lilly Allen, (laughter) and (pause) Mika (laughter) em but all my friends went (pause) for like MGMT were there em (pause) and (pause) there was a to- there was tonnes of people I can't even think of them, but the line up this year was so much better but we couldn't go this year, so.

Speaker 1:

Hm (pause) do you ever go to em like concerts (pause) or comedy gigs?

Speaker 3:

We don't really do we?

Speaker 2:

No not really

Speaker 3:

We're not very adventurous people.

Speaker 2:

(laughter) No

Speaker 3:

Like in that (pause) type of thing we always say we want to to do these things but we never really (interruption) do them.

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Yeah (pause) we always say we want to do things but we never do them.

Speaker 3:

We go like Mr Lynches and As You Like It for the live bands

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Yeah

Speaker 3:

(interruption) But they're not like anyone, they're just sort of a good live band but they're always (pause) really good fun.

Speaker 2:

Yeah (pause)

Speaker 3:

Em (pause) uh

Speaker 1:

Do you ever go on road trips round the UK?

Speaker 2:

No (laughter)

Speaker 3:

(laughter) We sound so boring, we always talk about doing it like 'let's go Alton Towers', 'let's go to Leeds', like a lot of our friends live across the country (pause) em (pause) (interruption) we never go and see them

Speaker 2:

(interruption) It it's -- it's always an issue of money (pause) or

Speaker 3:

How many (interruption) people can go and

Speaker 2:

(interruption) How many people are going to Come, and it just never it just always (pause) fails

Speaker 1:

Em have you ever had an imaginary (laughter) friend as a child?

Speaker 3:

I never had one I never understood them (interruption) when people had imaginary friends

Speaker 2:

(interruption) I (pause) n- (pause) I've -- I've never had one but my niece (pause) it's not an imaginary friend but she 'cause she's three (pause) she em (pause) talks about a Goblob or something, and she's like look at Goblob, and like points to the ceiling, and always talks about this (pause) weird thing (pause) so.

Speaker 1:

(laughter)

Speaker 3:

That's bizarre

Speaker 2:

I know

Speaker 3:

I never understand that (laughter) kind of thing

Speaker 1:

Goblob (laughter)

Speaker 2:

Yeah

Speaker 1:

Em would you ever want to be hypnotised? (pause)

Speaker 3:

I would quite like to (pause) I see these adverts for things like 'cause I bite my nails really badly and I see hypnotising for like how to stop biting your nails I'd love it for that but I wouldn't like it if someone was like (pause) I think it'd be weird if like took you know when they take you into another (pause) like life I'd -- I'd don't know 'cause I think it could really sort of scar you

Speaker 2:

Yeah

Speaker 3:

If you come across something that (pause) I don't know it'd be weird you couldn't sort of take it back once you've done it, (interruption) but

Speaker 2:

(interruption) Yes

Speaker 1:

Do you think it would make you want, look for things more?

Speaker 3:

Yeah (pause) in a way I get what you mean (pause) yes (pause) (interruption) it wouldn't be good.

Speaker 1:

(interruption) Em (pause) would you say you're closest to your mum or your dad?

Speaker 2:

Em (pause) I'm closest to my mum (pause) em (pause) yeah (pause) my mum.

Speaker 3:

I'm -- I'm (unclear) you, my parents are separated so it's (pause) they're not comparable they're totally sort of different people now, I don't know (pause) it's like my dad's sort of a dad and my mum's sort of like a friend, I don't know it's weird, so it's totally different relationships.

Speaker 1:

Do you have any siblings?

Speaker 3:

I have two brothers and a sister and then like half brothers and half sisters only I'm only -- only in contact with two of them but the other ones are (pause) like I don't know they're like thirty-five or something, forty (pause) so I don't really (pause) contact them very much.

Speaker 2:

And I have three brothers

Speaker 1:

Do you get on really well with them?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm the youngest and they're (pause) all (pause) like (pause) um old like (interruption) thirty

Speaker 3:

(interruption) (laughter)

Speaker 2:

Old yeah

Speaker 3:

(laughter) Old

Speaker 2:

No compared to me like I'm like so there was a huge gap in between (pause) me and them (pause) so they're all like friends (pause) and then they kind of I get on well with them 'cause they like look after me and stuff

Speaker 1:

Are they protective?

Speaker 2:

Yeah they're quite protective, but not in a nasty way like they just (pause) they'd always be there for me sort of thing

Speaker 1:

Mm (pause) ok thank you

Speaker 2:

Thanks
