Matthew Fraser Kirby

Matthew Fraser Kirby is a doctoral researcher funded by the UK’s Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC). His research explores auditory-visual sensory interactions in memory formation. As part of a translational neuroscience partnership between the University of Liverpool and Newcastle University, he integrates human and non-human primate studies to investigate the underlying neural mechanisms of multimodal memory. With expertise in neuropsychology, audio engineering, and neuromodulation technologies, Matthew aims to advance diagnostic and intervention strategies for cognitive and memory disorders.
