University EDI Award 2023

Dr Yuki Kikuchi was announced the winner of the University EDI Champion Award in the category - Outstanding Contribution to EDI (staff).  This award was for the recognition of being the first UK female nonhuman primate Home Office Project Licence holder from an ethnic minority background, and for her tremendous work in promoting inclusivity among her group and institute by encouraging openness and educating herself and others about EDI challenges (NU Biosciences Institute Newsletter ISSUE 38 | April 2023).
