Advancing UK-Japan Collaboration

We are delighted to invite you to an ECR-led workshop focused on fostering collaboration and advancing marmoset research within Newcastle University and beyond.

This workshop provides a unique platform to showcase cutting-edge research and engage in discussions across diverse topics, including behavioural science, neuroscience and neurotechology. The workshop is supported by six ECR funding initiatives. This event is not only a venue for scientific exchange but also as an opportunity to address challenges and explore new directions in marmoset biomedical research.

Newcastle University, as a member of the RENKEI Japan-UK Research Network, welcomes Japanese and RENKEI university partners. The workshop will highlight their work and also include a session on funding opportunities, focusing on fellowships and collaboration grants between the UK and Japan.
