FMS Research Excellence Development Awards (REDA)

We are excited to announce that our lab has been awarded the FMS Research Excellence Development Awards (REDA) for our project "Development of public engagement platforms to disseminate translational neuroscience research using animal models."

Through this funding, we will develop a variety of public engagement platforms to raise awareness of the importance of our work and advance translational research using animal models. The funding will also provide important skill development for our team members through outreach and public speaking opportunities. 

Our first public engagement activity will be held at the Featherstone Castle, Scent & Science Festival 2023 in Haltwhistle on the 1st of July. We will be giving a talk and hosting hands-on activities about our research.

We are grateful to the FMS for this award and look forward to making a positive impact on changing research culture and career advancement for the team.
