CONEXS aims to support the next generation of researchers to study X-Ray Spectroscopy. With this goal in mind, we will be running an annual Summer School, taking place in September each year.
The Summer Schools will provide introductory lectures to X-Ray Spectroscopy, as well as lectures and practical workshops led by experts in the field. Our first Summer School was hosted by Newcastle University on the 10-12 September 2019, focusing on the near-edge structure of X-Ray absorption spectra including FDMNES and CP2K.
The Summer Schools are open to all academics, with priority given to PhD students and early career researchers. The schools are free to attend and accommodation will be provided for two nights free of charge.
