Read, Play, Relax & Refuel at Discover Festival

This is a resting place for families who need a (small) break from the festival where you will have the opportunity to learn more about Child Language Acquisition research and related events from experts (Dr Emma Nguyen and Dr Rebecca Woods) at Newcastle University! This all-day space will provide refreshments to families and art supplies to entertain children. Additionally, at scheduled points throughout the day, “Community Storytime” will engage children in story-booking reading and “Preschool Poets” will guide them through creating their own poems.
