Researcher Appointed

Dr Yang Wang took up the post of Research Associate on the CoV project.

Yang completed his PhD in Urban Studies at the University of Glasgow in 2021. He subsequently worked at the same institute as a Research Associate and then an Interdisciplinary Research Fellowship before joining us/Newcastle University. He has a long-standing interest in researching people-place relationships in, though not limited to, heritage settings, in particular the inequality and precarity within such relationships. Yang has also developed research expertise in home adaptations.

 

Project approved

An essential first step for any project is to gain ethical approval from our Facult Research Ethics Committee. Without this approval, we are not allowed to recruit and interview participants. Happily, approval for the project has bee given and we can start working with our case study partners to recruit participants.
