The BodyMet study is a collaboration between researchers at Newcastle University and Jonple Ltd.
The purpose of the BodyMet study is to validate the use of mobile phone technology to calculate body dimensions and generate information about an individual’s physiological and nutritional status.
Mobile phone technology is extremely accessible and may have sufficient accuracy and precision compared with existing methods used with the general population.
The project aims to assess the validity of photographic technology when used to measure body dimensions.
We are currently looking for volunteers aged 18 years old and over to take part in the project. Please navigate to the participant information section for full details.
