The project is led by Lisa-Marie Shillito in collaboration with a team of multi-disciplinary experts. Shillito is an expert in archaeological chemistry and analysis of ash, and has worked at the site for over 10 years. Hodder is director of excavations at Çatalhöyük and Dunlevie Family Professor of Archaeology at Stanford University, and an expert in Neolithic Anatolia. Haddow is an expert in osteoarchaeological analysis and has worked at Çatalhöyük for 8 years. Namdeo is a civil engineer with expertise in air quality monitoring and works on the issue of urban air pollution in modern cities such as Dehli. Mazzucatto is an expert in GIS who oversees the Çatalhöyük database.
