Bruce Young
Young serves as NatureServe's Chief Zoologist and Senior Conservation Scientist. He is the science lead for NatureServe's Biodiversity Indicators Dashboard, an online source for visualizing trends in biodiversity indicators at multiple spatial scales. The Dashboard supports global biodiversity policy mechanisms such as the Convention on Biological Diversity's Aichi Targets and the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. Young also serves as the Deputy Director of the IUCN SSC Climate Change Specialist Group. Young is keen that the post 2020 agenda include measurable indicators and addresses the challenges that climate change pose to biodiversity.
