Roderick Skinner
Rod is the lead for our study at the Great North Children's Hospital in Newcastle. He and his team are helping to invite patients to our study.
Rod is a Professor of Childhood Cancer at Newcastle University. He is also a Consultant in Paediatric and Adolescent Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplant at Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Rod has considerable expertise in long-term follow-up and late effects of treatment in childhood cancer.
His research focuses on several aspects of childhood cancer survivorship including the development of evidence-based guidelines for the follow-up of childhood cancer survivors.
