Liz Pharoah
Liz is the lead researcher for our study.
Liz joined Newcastle University in 2024 after completing a PhD at Loughborough University.
Liz's research has focused on the impact of childhood cancer treatment on the child and their family members during treatment for childhood cancer. Focusing on activities that families take part in and creating an intervention to support the family to be physically active together during treatment.
Liz brings her experience as a cancer and exercise specialist personal trainer, an experienced primary school teacher and a mum to support participants in her research.
