Cresta Clinics

The CRESTAs (Clinics for Research and Service in Themed Assessment) are led and managed by the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The aim of the CRESTAs are to provide enhanced care for patients with complex multi-morbidity through a 'one-stop' multidisciplinary visit. They were launched in 2012 and are expected to better serve the needs of an increasingly aged patient population, and are also geared at recruitment of such patients for participation in early phase trials.

Prof Rochester and her team attend the clinics on a weekly basis to assess and treat people referred to the clinics.
