Study visits primarily took place at the Clinical Research Facility located on Level 6 of the Leazes Wing at the Royal Victoria Infirmary near Newcastle city centre (NE1 4LP).   

Participants randomised to receive the study treatment also had one visit at the Freeman Hospital. The Freeman Hospital is located on Freeman Road in High Heaton, Newcastle (NE7 7DN).

Both hospitals are part of The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
