Claudia Borghetti is a Researcher in Foreign Language Teaching at the School of Foreign Languages and Literature, Interpreting and Translation, University of Bologna, Italy. She holds a M.A. in intercultural learning through telecollaboration from the University of Bologna, and a Ph.D. in Foreign Language Learning and Teaching from the National University of Ireland, Galway. She was project manager of the IEREST Project (http://www.ierest-project.eu). Claudia researches on intercultural language education, teaching Italian as a foreign/second language, and Study abroad and multilingualism.
