Multiplier event in Leuven

Entitled “Approaches and Tools for Internationalisation at Home: Consultation workshop on the ATIAH Curriculum Framework”, the first multiplier event in Belgium took place at the University College Leuven-Limburg on May 17th 2018 from 11.15 am to 1.15 pm.

The aim was to provide students and student representatives from higher education institutions in Belgium, and other countries, the opportunity learn about the ATIAH project and discuss internationalisation at home with the support of the latest version of the curriculum framework.

A total 39 students and student representatives from higher education institutions in Belgium and other countries attended this workshop. The workshop was conducted in English, and consisted of four parts: (1) an introduction to the ATIAH-project goals, activities, and outputs; (2) a group exchange of the experiences with and the perceptions of IaH; (3) a hands-on activity in which small groups explore the ATIAH curriculum framework from different perspectives; and (4) a discussion on the strengths and weaknesses of the curriculum framework and on opportunities for improving its usability.
