Multiplier event in Durham

The Newcastle team ran the first multiplier event in England at the School of Business, University of Durham, on May 2^nd, from 12.30 to 14.00. The convener was Dr. Philip Warwick.

Dr Joana Almeida and Prof. Sue Robson started by haring the key quantitative findings of an online survey sent out to students and staff across partner institutions, as well as other European HE institutions. They explored the viewpoints of 342 students and staff on internationalisation at home, namely: (a) opportunities for intercultural development, (b) extent of interaction between international and home students, (c) key activities of Internationalisation at Home, and (d) support services. An interactive group discussion was also held with 10 staff members on the Evidence Framework (see Outputs) wherein attendees ranked indicators for internationalisation at home.
