Multiplier event in Bath
The second multiplier event in England took place at the University of Bath (10 West 2.47) on July 3rd 2018 from 11.00 am to 14.00 pm. This event was open to the entire academic community and to those involved with or interested in international education matters in higher education. A total of 33 participants from nine different higher education institutions attended the event.
This event consisted of a three hour workshop and aimed to familiarise attendees with the ATIAH project, some of its key findings and its three outputs: (1) a curriculum framework for 'internationalising your university experience', (2) a self-audit tool, and (3) an evidence framework. This workshop will focus on the Evidence Framework in particular.
Upon presentation of the ATIAH project, its findings and outputs, attendees were invited to interact with the Evidence Framework. This output is intended to measure progress in developing Internationalisation at Home (IaH) agendas in Higher Education. Participants were invited to gather in small groups to participate in the following exercises: (1) brainstorming about IaH, (2) a matching exercise regarding the six dimensions of the Evidence Framework, and (3) a diamond ranking exercise of the bank of indicators of the Evidence Framework.
