Biography

Mylene graduated in General Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences of the University of Yaounde I in 2015 and Gerontology Capacity at Sorbonne University Paris VI in 2022. She is currently working as a Geriatrician in the Acute Geriatric Unit of the Yaounde Central Hospital. She is a member of the Cameroonian Geriatrics and Gerontology Society and founder of the Healthy Ageing Association Cameroon (HAAC) which aims to improve the quality of life of older people in Cameroon. Her current research focus is on frailty and implementation of Integrated Care for Older People (ICOPE) in Cameroon.

Unfortunately, Dr Mballa was unable to attend ISTRC 2023.
