International Sarcopenia Translational Research Conference (ISTRC) – 4 & 5 October 2023

The ART of Healthy Ageing Network were delighted to invite conference attendees to a networking breakfast which provided the opportunity to meet other researchers, share research interests and identify potentially useful connections for ongoing work. This breakfast was developed in response to feedback from the ECR workshop which highlighted the need for more opportunities to network with people at different career stages, including senior academics and funders.  We were very grateful to our Network Management Group members, Luigi Ferrucci (Scientific Director of the National Institute on Aging and an External Advisory Group member) and Jess Boname and Alice Fayter from the UKRI - Medical Research Council who all attended the breakfast and contributed to the success of the event.
