Miss Lorelle Dismore

Lorelle is a Chartered Health Psychologist and PhD student, on an honorary contract from Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Her PhD study involves examining the effects of pain catastrophizing on post-operative outcomes in forefoot surgical patients. She is interested in promoting health and preventing illness through behaviour change. She is working with Professor Sian Robinson and the AGE Research Group on the study of lifestyle in later life with older people with frailty and multiple long-term conditions and appetite change in older adults. Lorelle previously worked on the MIlkMAN Pilot study; a nutritional and exercise intervention.
