Viccy Adams studied English Literature at the University of St Andrews before moving to Newcastle to do a PhD in Creative Writing. After finishing her PhD she worked as Creative Writing Development Officer for the Newcastle Centre for the Literary Arts, and as Leverhulme Trust writer in residence for the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh.
She has taught creative writing for the past five years, and is an accredited writing coach. Alongside researching creative processes, Viccy writes short stories, collaborates with other artists, and reads as much as possible.
