Deborah works for the National Autistic Society and manages the NE Autism Resource Centre. She supports North East families and individuals with autism running parent groups, training and specialised support. The resource centre is also the regional training hub for the Autism Education trust and Deborah delivers training to education professionals across the region. She is also part of the Complex Neurdevelopmental disorder Service, a regional second opinion team for ASD as the regional parent ASD expert advisor supporting families following a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. Deborah has had the pleasure on working on a number of research projects both within the North East and Nationally including BAT Beating Anxiety Together, Managing Repetitive Behaviours and Measure.
