Field Visit

We would like to thank Eleanor Starkey and Luke Smith for providing us with a tour of the National Green Infrastructure Facility and the NU Urban Observatory. 

The National Green Infrasture Facility has implemented a suite of experiments to gain an understanding of interventions that attenuate, infiltrate, treat, and control flow in the built environment.

The Urban Observatory has the largest set of publicly available real-time urban data in the UK. Their FLOOD-Prepared project is examining real-time surface water flood risk and impacts analysis for cities.
