Field Meeting - North Eastern Cheviots

Following our day conference on Saturday 28th April in Berwick members are invited to take part in our second field meeting which will explore the North Eastern Cheviots.

From Berwick we will head to the hills which have fostered so many of our ideas and helped shape the distinctive prehistory of the region. We plan to leave Berwick in mini-buses at 9.00am on the Sunday, and also arrange a rendezvous where members can meet us. Then, as during our late field meting, we’ll make full use of our day. We will stop off at the Duddo stone circle, then enter the College Valley, overlooked by Yeavering Bell, and parking next to the Hethpool stone circle before exploring the rest of the surrounding landscape and sites.
