SusTEM2017 in the Netherlands
The Network is organising SusTEM2017 as a continuation of the series of SusTEM conferences in 2010, 2011 and 2015.
SusTEM2017 will be coordinated jointly with the Energy Research Centre of the Netherlands (ECN). The organising committee of ECN is led by Sigrid Bollwerk, Program Development Manager of Energy Efficiency in Industry. Also, the EPSRC-funded Centre for Industrial Energy, Materials and Products (CIE-MAP) is running a special session on relevant topics for research dissemination.
The scope of SusTEM2017 will cover industrial waste heat utilisation; industrial energy, materials and products; renewable heating and cooling systems; building energy performance; control, modelling and optimisation; thermal networks; energy efficiency; economics and policy challenges.
SusTEM2017 consists of keynote speech, oral presentation, poster exhibition, conference dinner and a site visit, which will take place in different venues, as follows:
- Keynote speech, oral presentation and poster exhibition on 28-29 June: Golden Tulip Hotel, Alkmaar
- Conference dinner on 28 June: Rivers Club & Restaurant, Alkmaar
- Site visit on 30 June: ECN, Petten
