Information for Participants & Volunteers

What to know about SPiEs

We would like to find out how sensitive are people with Parkinson's to different intensities of emotions.  If you decide you would like to take part, we will arrange to see you at the Clinical Ageing Research Unit (CARU) at Newcastle University. You will be invited to return for a number of visits to take part in a computer-based study. Each visit will last between 2 and 4 hours. During this visit you will be asked to take part in an emotion recognition experiment, where you will be asked to judge different facial expressions of emotion.
