CALL FOR PAPERS

The University of Wales Institute of Non-Newtonian Fluid Mechanics supported by the British Society of Rheology will host a conference on

`Industrial Food Processing: Experiments and Numerical Simulation'

at the University of Plymouth, UK.

Monday 9th April – Wednesday 11th April, 2001

The aim of this conference will be to advance the understanding of problems that occur within the food processing industry. The conference will bring together industrialists and academics with interests in experimental and numerical approaches to the various problems that arise. A particular theme will be food rheology but other relevant topics, such as the development of novel numerical methods or new experimental techniques, will be encouraged.

Accommodation will be provided at the Copthorne Hotel which is located very close to the conference venue.

Abstracts (not exceeding 300 words) will be required by 1st November, 2000.
