Annual General Meeting, 1999

The AGM of the British Society of Rheology was held Monday, 20th September 1999 at the Novartis Foundation in London.

Changes to the Constitution (see Bulletin Volume 42, No. 1) were approved. New subscription rates, and the separate subscription for Rheology Abstracts, now take effect.

The changes to Council this year resulted in a new Treasurer, Dr Rhodri Williams and a new Membership Secretary, Tom Dovey. There is one new face on council, Dr Oliver Harlen and Council bade farewell to Professor Russell Davies.

The new membership of Council may be inspected.
