Jim Ferguson Memorial Lecture

was devoted to lectures organized as
a memorial tribute to Jim Ferguson.

1999 AGM and technical meeting
The 1999 autumn meeting and AGM was
held on Monday, 20th September
at the
Novartis
Foundation in London.
The scientific meeting was called "Rheology of bio-systems" and
Malcolm Mackley
was the organiser, from whom more information may be obtained.

1998 AGM and EGM
The BSR held an
AGM in September and an EGM in December 1998.

BSR is technical (as distinct from financial) sponsor of a
University of Wales
Institute of
Non-Newtonian Fluid Mechanics conference entitled
"Inverse problems in rheology"
to be held at the Lake Vyrnwy Hotel, Wales, on
April 10-12th 2000.
