Profile:

Agustina holds a PhD in PhD in Mechanical and Systems Engineering and Masters' degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Padua, Italy, where she specialized in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Agustina lives in Washington DC, where she is Financial Markets Specialist at the Capital Markets and Financial Institutions Division of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the leading international financial institution for Latin American and Caribbean countries. Her work at IDB focuses on financing infrastructure and supply chains in Latin America and the Caribbean. For more than ten years Agustina has worked in the design and implementation of logistics and infrastructure programs throughout Latin America and Asia. Before joining IDB in 2010, Agustina worked in the areas of economic and transport planning with several international organizations (European Commission, International Labor Organization, United Nations); the public sector (Municipality of Turin, Italy); as well as the private sector.
