Pint of Science Talk
We usually take for granted the ability to move our limbs, but injuries to the nervous system can lead to devastating paralysis. With increased understanding of how the brain controls movement, it is now becoming possible to build electronic implants that bypass injuries and restore movement. As part of the Pint of Science series, this talk will describe the history of neural interfaces and look at where this technology will lead us in the future. Further details can be found here.
