Welcome to our website. We are currently conducting research into the health of detainees in police custody. We are also examining the effectiveness the police health screening procedures. We are a research group based within the Institute of Neuroscience at Newcastle University and the Department of Forensic Psychiatry, Northumberland Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust.
