Friendly Footprints is a temporary exhibition at the Discovery Museum which explores some of the ways that people have lived sustainably in the past, and continue to do so today.
The display has been made of sustainable materials. The panels are made of Ultraboard and Priplak r100, which are both recycled products. Priplak r100 is made of 100% recycled polypropylene, and can be recycled up to 50 times. The ink used in the printing process is solvent-free and water-based, which makes it environmentally friendly. Even the plinths are made of recycled plastics. After the exhibition the display materials will be reused or recycled.
