Dr Alaa Abouhajar, BSc (Hons) MSc (Maths) Dip (Stats) PhD (Maths). Alaa Abouhajar is a Database Manager based at Newcastle University in the Newcastle Clinical Trials Unit. Alaa joined the FiCTION team in June 2014 as a Database Officer and worked alongside the Database Manager for a year on the trial. In June 2015, Alaa was promoted to Database Manager and is currently responsible for the trial’s databases.
